Digitaliseringsdirektørens rolle og betydning

Mange organisasjoner har opprettet en ny topplederstilling – digitaliseringsdirektøren/ Chief Digital Officer (CDO ) – som en følge av utfordringer og muligheter som økt digitalisering innebærer. Studier viser at CDO kan ha viktige roller for digital transformasjon av organisasjoner, men også at forventningene til rollen kan være uklare og vanskelige å etterleve. Det er derfor viktig å forstå hvilke forhold som har betydning for at CDO lykkes.

Praktisk verdi av IKT-forskning

Det gjennomføres mye forskning på bruk av IKT i organisasjoner, med ulike perspektiver og på ulike tema som praktikere er opptatt av. Resultater fra slik forskning kan dermed gi verdifull innsikt på områder med strategisk betydning for organisasjoner. Dette krever imidlertid at det etableres gode måter å utveksle aktuell kunnskap på.
